About Us
From Skate Crates to Skate Boutique.
Skate Crates was born April 2020 in the heart of Flatbush, Brooklyn and would quickly become a fixture in Brooklyn's skate community. Expansions to The Bronx and Harlem, Trenton, New Jersey and more until April 2025, when we announced the birth of SKATE BOUTIQUE.
Founders DJ Freedom and his wife Martina founded both Skate Crates and Skate Boutique. Freedom is a roller skate DJ, remixer and producer; while Martina keeps the community together online and in person at their events.
